Team and Role Introduction

Lazada's Digital Credit team is driving the growth of Lazada’s digital credit business, including Buy Now Pay Later, cash loan for e-commerce buyers and merchant loan for e-commerce sellers. As part of the Regional Digital Credit Business Team, you will be the key personnel to focus on the direct loan business & operation in Philippines to ensure the loan facility we provide to our users is smooth at user end. You will be the person to take responsibility of the PNL, and make the decision on what operations we need to do to achieve that. Internally and externally, you will be the one driving internal negotiations and external collaborations with our key stakeholders and partners. Ideally, you know the consumer loan market in PH, you know what are the users’ concern, you know how to set up appropriate operation strategy.

Responsibilities

• Data-driven on key indicators and set out strategy on the improvement.
• Full ownership as the lead to launch new projects from end to end, including business development, product features alignment, pre-live testing & BAU operation.
• Closely follow up user feedback, market research, regulator’s requirement, competitor analysis to make sure overall business operation’s sustainability.

Requirements/Qualifications(must have)

• Know how direct loan works, full capability on key indicator analysis including ROI, PNL, NIM
• 1 year or above experience at digital credit/online direct loan to consumers from banking, financing company or lending company background.
• Strong multitasking skills with the ability to project manage across multiple work streams and requirements.
• Able to work independently and adapt to a fast and dynamic work environment with a high focus in end-results and bottom-line goals.

Requirements/Qualifications(good to have)

• Experienced at certain online lending project E2E launching.
• Prior background of digital credit business in SEA with regional knowledge and expertise will be viewed favorably.
• Education in [accounting/finance/economics/mathematics/statistics/physics/engineering] or any quantitative field required; relevant professional certifications in finance, accounting, treasury, and risk management will be advantageous.
