Who are we looking for:

As a General Accounting Manager, you will oversee critical accounting and reporting functions within the organization. This role involves managing a team of accountants to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, compliance with accounting standards, and collaboration with various departments. You will support efficient financial processes, coordinate audits, and deliver insightful financial data to support management decisions.

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or relevant standards.
  • Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage the accounting team by assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and manage the general ledger, ensuring entries and adjustments are properly documented.
  • Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Review and approve journal entries, verifying that documentation is complete and aligned with accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with auditors during financial audits, assist in preparing audit schedules, and provide relevant documentation.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
  • Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted targets, providing detailed variance analysis.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting department to enhance efficiency and streamline workflows.
  • Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure accurate and timely tax filings, staying updated on tax regulations to optimize tax-related processes.

What does it take to be part of the team?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred).
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting, including a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with financial analysis and reporting tools.
  • Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Willing to be assigned in: PASAY CITY
