About the Role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in building and optimizing deployment pipelines, automating release processes, and ensuring the smooth operation of systems and infrastructure. You will collaborate with development and IT teams to enhance system reliability, security, and performance while staying up to date with industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build deployment pipelines to automate and improve release processes across multiple environments.
• Lead and implement advanced CI/CD pipelines and be familiar with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Implement various development, testing, automation tools, and cloud infrastructure to optimize operational efficiency.
• Manage requests for builds and oversee the promotion of application and infrastructure code.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure systems are protected against cybersecurity threats.
• Develop familiarity with existing applications and infrastructure codebases, with a focus on system and application architecture.
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors and provide timely resolutions.
• Evaluate and improve existing deployment pipelines, ensuring they meet current and future business needs.
• Develop technical documentation to support DevOps practices and procedures.
• Stay current with industry trends, including cloud computing and machine learning, and integrate new technologies when applicable.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Experience:

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or related engineering role.

Competencies:

• Advanced deployment and automation skills with a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Ability to analyze complex information and translate it into practical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Leadership abilities to guide the team in best practices and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
