1. Supervise QC inspection processes.

2. Conduct training for QC Technician / Inspectors.

3. Initiative & formulate corrective / preventive action with relevant departments and verify the effectiveness.

4. Evaluate and dispose in process reject products.

5. Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) system, monitor and improve the process capability with production department.

6. Assist QA Engineer in the qualification of new products (e.g. mold testing) and new process.

7. Review customer drawings / specifications, manufacturing instruction, test result and other associated production / development planning for determining and establishing required quality requirements and measurement system capability.

8. Plan and Review Measurement System Analysis (MSA) results.

9. Plan & Review Process Capability Study (CP/Cpk) results.

10. Plan & Review First Article (FA) Inspection results.

11. Establish Quality / Inspection Plan for assigned project / product.

12. Analyze and evaluate new project / product for necessary planning of process control, inspection and testing needs.

13. Interface with tool maker, supplier, customer and / or relevant departments in problem solving by effectively use of failure analysis, problem solving, mistake-proofing and statistical techniques.

14. Collect & analyze data pertaining to quality performance for prioritizing and initiating and action plans for continual improvement.

15. Execute the responsibility and authority of the QA Engineer during his absence.

Experience

1. Two years experience as a QC Supervisor in high volume manufacturing environment.

2. Working knowledge and experience with ISO 9001 standards.

3. Knowledge & experience in Internal Quality Audit (IQA)

4. Knowledge in Statistical Quality Control (SQC) techniques.

5. Knowledge in Measurement System Analysis (MSA).

6. Knowledge in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GDT).

7. Able to operate Co-ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).

8. Good verbal and written communication skills.

9. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

10. Systematic and analytical in problem identification and resolution.
